It's the Inside that Counts

Have you ever looked at someone and thought mean things about them?

Truth is, we don't know that person, what that person has been through, or what that person might need! They might need a friend or someone to tell them they matter.

A lot of times we think we are just one person out of a billion or, if you will, "one candle" out of a billion.

BUT!

Did you know one small teeny tiny dim light is visible in the darkest room? That person might be living in the darkest room in his/her mind. They might need you to shine your little light and show Jesus' love so they might find hope, peace, forgiveness or even forgive themselves.

So I challenge you and myself to try to do something every day for someone to shine their light for someone. Help someone with their groceries, hold the door open for someone, SMILE, reach out to someone who seems to be going through a struggle, listen to someone who just needs to talk, ect...

"Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart"
-Psalms 97:11
